The MX-Tech Compression Adjusters were designed to improve the feel and usability of the compression adjustment circuit, and improve the pressure balance of the system. This created a more stable and consistent operation.

This is done by a Subvlave style high speed adjustment originally developed by Ross Maeda. The Subvalve adjustment allows it to increases or decrease the volume of oil going through the main valving piston, thereby increasing or decreasing the damping rates created by the valve.

The Low speed adjuster creates a 100% bypass to the valve allowing the shock’s low speed compression to be tuned traditionally.

On some models with LSR where there was sufficient room, we took the design a step further and created a 3rd adjustment that makes changes to the ultra-low speed rebound. In this system we run a stiffer valve setting to the return circuit and use a preloaded gate style valve that is adjusted with the third adjuster. That increases or decreases the volume to the main return valve and thereby increases or decreases he rebound force created by the return circuit.
