What's in the kit?

The kit consists out of 3 parts that enhance the flow and air intake of the OEM throttle body: 

TRIGA-TBI™

The TRIGA Throttle Body Insert improves the volumetric efficiency of your bike’s engine by applied PWT (Pressure Wave Tuning). The up and down running pressure wave in the intake system is tuned to ensure the positive peak of the pressure wave is there when the intake valve opens. 

TRIGA-TBV™

The flow engineered TRIGA butterfly valve and shaft are CNC precision machined from exceptional steel that allows for less material use and optimal shape. This will eliminate high end flow loss by lowering flow restriction.

TRIGA-OTBV™

The flow engineered OEM TRIGA butterfly valve is precision machined from exceptional steel that allows for less material use and optimal shape. This will eliminate high end flow loss by lowering flow restriction. 

How does it work?

The different parts included in the iBOOST2 kit will allow for 2 installation configurations. You can decide what you want to run. Each configuration requires your dealer to install a pre-defined set of parts:

Wideband

The first configuration: “ Wideband ”, requires installation of the redesigned TRIGA Throttle Body Insert with corresponding flow engineered butterfly valve and shaft. This will increase horsepower evenly distributed over low, mid and top range of the power band and improve throttle response. It’s a redesigned and optimized version of the proven iBOOST kit. Installation is the same as the iBOOST.

Top-end

The second configuration: “ Top-end ”, requires installation of the redesigned TRIGA shaft with a larger optimized butterfly valve for OEM throttle bodies, this does NOT require the blue insert. This will increase horsepower exclusively in the top range of the power band (90-100% open throttle position). Installation is the same as iBOOST without installing the blue insert.

  • It can be installed in stock bike without any changes to fuel mapping or other tuning.

What are the benefits of the iBOOST2; top-end?

  • It can significantly increase horsepower in top range. (90-100% open throttle position)
  • The butterfly valve and shaft will eliminate high end flow loss by lowering flow restriction.
  • It can be installed and de-installed in without damaging the OEM throttle body.
  • Additional fuel mapping can optimise performance.
  • After installing it you will not have to service it.
